Divorce = Loss of Liberty

The New Hampshire court case of a homeschooler ordered into public school (http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/2950) shows not only the disintegration of family freedoms, but the influence of a worldview and the tangled web of divorce. Anytime the courts get involved in anything, rights become severely limited. Duh!  When we cannot settle our differences (as irreconcilable as they may appear), personal freedoms will be abridged. We think divorce frees us from “oppression”–just watch:  A husband and wife split up and invite the court to settle their dispute:  enter “Marital Master” and “guardian ad litem.” Both make court recommendations according to their own worldviews. The judge’s worldview is imposed on the family with the slam of the gavel. Mom loses + daughter loses + father loses = family loses. Court decides + case law strengthened = more families lose. The Christian community wakes up to complain then goes back to sleep. The nation loses. The nation collapses from within. The world loses. There is certainly NOTHING encouraging about any of this! When will we learn? As the family goes, so goes the nation. Strong families are built on strong marriages. Strong marriages are built on a joint Christian worldview. Being “unequally yoked,” whether in marriage or a business, is a recipe for national disaster.  Wake up, America!

“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” — Elie Wiesel (Holocaust survivor)
