The Lion Rohrers in Pennsylvania

Sam Rohrer lost his bid for the Republican nomination for PA Governor last night and his campaign ends, but something has simultaneously begun…the “Rohrer” of the PA populus is continuing.  Though Rohrer may not be in the race, his message still resonates among voters all over the state, Truth and Integrity in Government.  Pennsylvanians are looking for leaders they can trust.  They are not the only ones; that sentiment resonates and reverberates throughout America.  America is crying out for bold, honest leadership. Arlen Specter went down to defeat because of a selfish sound byte. Politicians spend more than half of their time on the job preparing for reelection.  Political corruption continues to fester and erupt.  Tea partiers are fed up with unresponsive, unprincipled government leadership.  Perhaps now the “silent majority” is awakening from its stupor and is getting its voice; it is beginning to roar.  Where are the real leaders and statesmen who will speak the truth?  Where are the champions around whom we can rally?  Mr. Rohrer has sounded the battle cry. People have run to the roar (Rohrer!). Perhaps Mr. Rohrer has not just awakened but loosed that sleeping lion.  He and others like him must be empowered to lead, they must be endowed to carry on the cause whether in the public or private sector.  Like the Judges of the Old Testament, ancient Israel rallied around deliverers who led them out of bondage.  The lion must roar.  Perhaps Sam Rohrer can help Pennsylvania and America get their voice back.
