Egyptian Uprising: Where is the media now?

Filed under: Uncategorized — danielhite @ 8:31 am

Perched high above Cairo’s Tahrir Square, the media idealized and hailed “the people’s revolution,” and all the while, “the people” down on the square were being overrun like a tsunami by the forces of Islamic extremism in the form of the Muslim Brotherhood who were hiding their Korans while chanting “down with Mubarak.”

And our President praised “democracy at work.” God help us, and God help the people of Egypt who are now battling chaos and anarchy in the streets and a military “martial law” that kowtows to the Muslim Brotherhood. As bad as it was, the Middle East was better off with Hosni Mubarak rather than Barak Hussein Obama. Where is the media now?
