The Land Cries Out

Filed under: Uncategorized — danielhite @ 5:57 pm

If God lets this go, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. A seated President, the leader of the free world and chief executive of the most powerful and God-blessed country on the planet has defiantly raised his fist to God in redefining the first and most sacred of social institutions–marriage. His position has “evolved,” so he says. “For I am the Lord, I change not…” so says our God. Marriage is God-ordained and not subject to the opinions of man. It is in God we trust, and certainly not our president. Coming out of the closet, his opinion has set aside 6000 years of recorded history and its cross-cultural and worldwide affirmation of traditional marriage. And he has reasoned it using the name of Jesus Christ and His teachings as well as the sounding board of his wife and daughters. His website touts 41 ways he has supported the LGBT community. So much for his so-called faith, for his commitment to the family, so much for his oath of office and protecting those values that made America great. So much for hope…and here comes more fundamental change. The change doesn’t get any more fundamental than this. He is no leader–certainly no moral leader. He is seeking to sell America’s birthright for a mess of pottage and votes. Christians and defenders of the Judeo-Christian ethic should raise up a great shout in opposition to this Obamanation abomination. God is not mocked, for what Obama has sown, and what America has sown into the White House, will surely be reaped in whirlwind fashion. We must rise up in national repentance, in sackcloth and ashes, and beseech the Lord’s forgiveness for this blasphemous and irreverent deed. We have failed to defend innocent life and now the sacredness of marriage. America’s days are numbered precious few if our land does not cry out.
