THE IRON PEN by Daniel Hite

Wow, has it been that long?

My last post was back around Thanksgiving? No…but it’s true.  So, Happy Thanksgiving, (Happy birthday to me!), Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine’s Day, Happy Washington’s Birthday (the real name of President’s Day), and Happy Daylight Savings Time this coming weekend…although there is nothing much happy about it.

My short commentary on each…

Remember the Pilgrims because it was upon their strong Biblical convictions that America’s foundation was built.
Remember that your individuality is represented by your birthday. God bless you, so you be a blessing to Him and to others, the blessing that only the one-and-only you can be!
Remember Jesus and to keep Him in Christmas.
Remember that each day, not just the first day of the first month, but every day can be a new beginning in your life.
Remember to show your love to your loved ones.
Remember our first President, the best president we ever had. “First in war, first in peace, first in the hearts of his countrymen.”
Remember to change your clocks! Losing an hour of your life is only temporary…only until November 2. So…make up for lost time! Do that important thing that you’ve been putting off. Do it quickly! Afterwards, you won’t have missed that hour as much!

    Dear Iron Pen:
Thank you so very much for reminding each of us to prayerfully, carefully, “remember!”
Like a wise man once commented, “Capturing precious moments today makes for precious memories tomorrow.”
And, from another man walking in Wisdom: “Make memories, not regrets.” Praise the Lord!!!
    God bless you and yours,
