Make Your 4th a Celebration of Freedom!

Filed under: Uncategorized — danielhite @ 9:35 am

Amidst all the family, food, games, and fireworks, make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to appreciate the great freedoms we celebrate. Remember the great sacrifices that were made so that we could celebrate! Remember the Original Author of our freedoms. Take a moment (or a few moments) to gather everyone’s thoughts onto the “idea” that is America. As Americans, we need to remember from where we have come so we do not make the mistake of ignoring the lessons of the past and having to repeat them.

These past two years I have come to appreciate Dennis Prager and his “Prager University” website (prageruniversity.com) that gives typically 5-minute lessons on the ideas that have made America great. Here is a short video that hopefully will build a new tradition for American families as they celebrate Independence Day on July 4. Use one idea or use them all. Enjoy! And God bless America!

Good morning to “The Iron Pen!”
Yes, freedom is too precious a gift to just idly sit by and let it slip away … or, be taken away.
We must — like the Early Church, like the Reformers, like our Founders — pray and act.
Our children, as well as their children, are counting on us. So, in turn, let us count on the Lord, repent, and [re]turn to Him.
    Thank you, as always,
    the Williams Family
